MCF Fashion Weak?
Part 5: Patience

Welcome to MCF Fashion Weak?

When Albert Einstein's wife asked him to change his clothes for the German ambassador he told her: 'If they want to see me, here I am. If they want to see my clothes, open my closet and show them my suits!'

The apostle Paul was telling people what to wear (and what not to wear) many years before ‘Trinny and Susannah’ came on the scene. Their modern message is to be as eye catching as you can by wearing the right shade of lip-gloss and blend of designer clothes. However Paul’s fashion tips were more about who we are when no one is looking. His plan was to help us dress our characters correctly - with compassion, kindness, humility gentleness and patience. After all, that is ultimately how we are all judged.

So how does Paul suggest we should 'dress our lives to impress?' And how can we begin to change our spiritual wardrobe and begin to look more like the person God had in mind when he made us?
